Important Changes to Course Prerequisites

After an evaluation of the marketplace, DevOps Institute will be removing the foundation-level prerequisites for practitioner level exams. The first course changes are:

• Jan. 31, 2022 - Foundation-level prerequisite removed from DevSecOps Practitioner starting with initial release.
• Feb. 28, 2022 - Foundation-level prerequisite removed from SRE Practitioner

Upcoming Course Revisions Releasing for SRE Practitioner and Certified Agile Service Manager

• Feb. 28, 2022 - Minor revisions will be released for SRE Practitioner v1.1 and Certified Agile Service Manager (CASM) v2.1
• April 25, 2022 - SRE Practitioner v1.0 and CASM v2.0 will retire.

Reminder: Continuing Education Program Launching

DevOps Institute is launching our Continuing Education Program to help certification holders stay up-to-date on the latest industry expertise. Changes related to this program are: 

• DevOps Institute Certifications will expire two years from the date they are earned.
• Certification holders will become Members.
• Continuing Education Units can be earned by Certification holders by taking courses, attending events, and participating in learning related to DevOps from DevOps Institute or other approved vendors.
